I bought this domain on wednesday may 25 2022 from Namecheap. I decided to go with a .space domain as it was the cheapest to renew from their list of domain extensions that they offered for free with hosting. I agonised for whole minutes on what to have. I tried all kinds of domain hacks, my favourite kind of domain, until it occured to me that .space could refer to website space. It is now hosted by Python1.

I am passionate about personal websites, in the old-fashioned way. These days if you were to type "personal websites" in a search bar, you would be treated to a long list of personal brands, portfolios, and tarted-up CVs. That is not a personal website. That is a shop window, the equivilent of a job application, a "look what I can do" site. A personal website, as in the old days of Geocities et al, is about one's family, hobbies, favourite things. Y'know, personal. I build so many personal websites, it's not funny any more. I just cannot resist them! No doubt you'll hear more of that in this site.

I was influenced to begin this site by Regina and her site, I Let The Words Speak. In which she has all the things she loves. What a good idea, I thought!
